Save money on your lighting bill
June 17 2017
Everybody likes to save money. It is estimated that the average household uses 11% of its energy budget for lighting. An incandescent light bulb only converts about 10% of its energy use into light, the rest is converted to heat. This is an incredible amount of waste.

By changing your bulbs to either compact flourescent lamps(CFLs) or light emitting diodes(LEDs) you can reduce your lighting energy use by as much as 50-75%.

* CFLs use 75% less energy than incadescent bulbs and last about 10 times longer.

* LEDs last even longer, use less energy, and contain no mercury.

Energy costs will always continue to rise and changing your light bulbs is one way to offset these costs.
